Below is the full content from the president's announcement:
Team—
I understand you all just completed your meeting - I hope you’re as thrilled as I am with the good news. Last time I sent you all a note, I mentioned the following: “I am confident in this team. You all are some of the most driven and creative designers we have had the opportunity to collaborate with - and we’re excited for that collaboration to continue.”
With your dedication and flexibility, especially over the last year, you continue to prove that.
The community feedback from last autumn’s Project ETHOS demo was informative. It affirmed the promise of a roguelike shooter but told us we still had work to do. It revealed the necessity for a clearer identity.
The progress is encouraging to see how far you’ve progressed. You accepted the criticism to consideration and overhauled Project ETHOS with a refreshed goal - one that’s positioned to fulfill its promise to our players.
Our confidence in this project increases every day. To boost the outstanding advancement you’ve made, I’m excited to welcome Ben Brinkman as the latest Director of 31st Union. Following several months of talks, he comes aboard us on the specified date.
Ben’s guidance and expertise in the competitive gaming genre is vast, having spent the recent years developing and managing some of the most recognizable franchises in gaming, such as the acclaimed shooter, and most recently, the battle royale hit.
Please join me in welcoming Ben soon. We are all eager to continue witnessing the progress of the game in the months to ahead.
David
