Christantus Uche Ignites Dominant Palace Triumph at Shelbourne.
Even though entering their maiden continental campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Missing star players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles departed Dublin with a comfortable win that all but guarantees them a place in the Conference League playoffs.
Another three points in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be enough to seal direct entry to the last 16, particularly following a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Opportunity
This match provided a platform for some of Palace's fringe talent to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second start after arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a clinical finish. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a second, scoring for the second game in match.

The contest was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past a series of comically weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring his very first touch, only to see his shot blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, indicating there is still room for improvement in his game.
A solitary worry for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This paved the way for 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect evening for the visiting side.
