Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
